May Edochie, a budding actress, top brand influencer, and estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has risen fiercely to defend her daughter, Danielle Edochie, against false claims and the damaging portrayal of her as rude and disrespectful.

In the early hours of Thursday, February 20, May took to her official Facebook page, posting a heartfelt video where she confronted those impersonating Danielle online.

She exposed how these imposters have been scavenging content from Danielle’s official social media pages, twisting her image into something she is not, all in a desperate bid to drive traffic to their videos.

With a mother’s pain and a warrior’s resolve, May expressed her disbelief at how far people would go to defame an innocent young girl. She questioned the intentions behind these malicious acts, wondered what she and her daughter could have possibly done to deserve such cruelty.

Determined to reclaim her daughter’s narrative, May revealed the bold steps she had taken to combat this menace.

The mum of three said she managed to convince Danielle to open an official Facebook page, publicly tagged the real and only name of her daughter’s account, and urged her followers to unfollow the fake pages and support the authentic one.

Captioning her post, she wrote;

“Good morning fam,

“Just to bring to your notice the correct handle of my daughter Danielle Danielle Diana Dubem.

“All those pages making ill-mannered posts about Danielle are fake and all in the bid to tarnish her image.”
