Verydarkman spotted in self-driving bus, May Edochie shares hotel view

China, the Asian powerhouse, has been dominating conversations across Nigerian social media, thanks to the ongoing visit of controversial internet critic Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman and Budding influencer, May Edochie.

Recall that VDM, never one to shy away from bold statements, recently stirred up discussions with a viral video urging Nigeria to take a leaf from China’s playbook.

Highlighting the country’s technological advancements and economic might, he directed a pointed message to President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, challenged Nigeria’s leadership to embrace progress rather than stagnation.

In his latest update, VDM took things a step further, shared footage of himself inside a self-driving bus, an emblem of China’s cutting-edge innovation.

With every mile the autonomous vehicle covered, his message rang louder, that Nigeria, with all its potential, had no excuse to lag behind.

According to VDM, China is already in the future:

But VDM is not the only Nigerian making waves in China. Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, the graceful and rising actress May Edochie, has been soaking in the country’s charm from a different lens.

Far from the heated political discourse, May has embraced the softer, more indulgent side of China. Her recent post, a breathtaking view from a luxury hotel in Guangzhou, offered a glimpse into her serene escape.

Captioning the photos, May Edochie wrote;

“A beautiful morning to you! 14 shades of beauri. How are you doing today? A few words to ponder on; The same boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It’s what you’re made of and not the circumstances.”
