- A chilling echo of pain reverberates through the Aloba household as Mohbad’s brother, Adura, is declared abducted.
- In a gut-wrenching video, Mohbad’s mother, her voice laced with anguish, cried out for help, named those she believes orchestrated his abduction.
Fresh concerns have emerged as Abosede Aloba, mother of the late singer Mohbad, cries out over the alleged abduction of her younger son, Adura.
According to eyewitnesses, Adura was taken by unidentified armed men, suspected to be police officers, just moments after leaving the Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, Lagos, on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources reveal that Adura had appeared in court over a legal dispute involving a phone he sold to Damola Ayinde, a case that spiraled into legal action against actor Yomi Fabiyi, Damola Ayinde, and others. However, what should have been a routine legal process took a dark turn.
In a video circulating online, Mohbad’s mother, Abosede, was seen weeping bitterly inside a vehicle, her voice heavy with pain as she lamented the sudden disappearance of her son.
Speaking in Yoruba, she cried out in anguish, pleading for help as she claimed that armed individuals had forcefully taken Adura away, left her in torment and uncertainty about his whereabouts.
Abosede accused Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo of being the culprits, said Adura was kidnapped in an unwell state.
She cried out, “Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They’ve taken my son, and I don’t know where they’re taking him.
“It’s Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo who took him. My son did nothing to them. Dear Nigerians, please stand by me.
“They must not lay a hand on my son. They must not beat him — he is sick
“The real culprit has already confessed and admitted to doing it. They’ve been begging me since this morning, even his lawyer pleaded with me. But I told them the matter is already in court — there’s nothing I can do
“Demola, you’ve put me in trouble. Mohbad’s spirit will fight you.”
