A Nigerian woman expresses her frustration after being refused service at a hair salon simply because she had recently given birth.

The new mother, known on TikTok as @mummy_taliah, shared her experience in a viral video, triggering a wave of reactions about postpartum hair care.

In the emotional clip, the woman explained that she had visited a local salon hoping to get a simple hair wash and cornrows, a gesture she described as an attempt to “get her spark back” after delivery. To her surprise, the hairstylist declined to touch her hair, insisting she could not work on her hair due to the recent childbirth.
