Popular American singer Justin Bieber has responded to swirling rumours about a possible divorce from his wife, Hailey Bieber, addressing the public speculation in a strongly worded Instagram post.
Social media had been flooded with rumours suggesting the couple was heading for a split, despite recently welcoming their first child in August 2024.
Breaking his silence, Bieber appeared to dismiss the rumours while subtly affirming the strength of his relationship. In a lengthy Instagram post, the singer took a spiritual and reflective tone, expressing frustration at the negativity surrounding his marriage.
He wrote:
“That feeling of guilt can be relieved. Not by going to church or reading your Bible, but just receiving that God forgives. The message is forgiveness. Jesus forgives who the culture never forgives.”
Continuing, Bieber addressed his critics directly:
“They treat me like ass out here, but if I remember that I’m flawed too and God forgave me, it helps me to stop feeling better than those who are mean and hurtful… Hurt people hurt people.”
In what seemed like a direct jab at those fueling the divorce narrative, he added:
“Honestly, if I was you, it would be hard not to be jealous if I saw me and Hailey going so brazzzzzy. It is really up for us and that is understandable why people cannot stand it. I don’t blame them.”
Though he did not explicitly deny the divorce rumours, Bieber’s message strongly suggested that his relationship with Hailey remains intact and thriving, despite external speculation.
The couple has yet to make a joint statement, but Justin’s post has already ignited a wave of reactions online, with fans and critics alike weighing in on the singer’s bold defence of his marriage.
