Comic actor Okon Lagos has shared his opinion on why the EFCC arrested the businessman, E-Money, over alleged Naira and dollar abuse.
Recall that earlier today, Gistreel reported that the EFCC arrested E-Money over Naira and Dollar abuse at Obi Cubana’s birthday party.
The arrest had caused outrage online, with many citing how the kids of the billionaire, Okoya, were supposedly left alone, despite abusing the Naira.
Reacting to the reason why the businessman was arrested, Okon Lagos asked the fault of E-Money for ‘abusing’ the dollar in a country where the foreign currency has belittled the local currency.
He further urged the EFCC to rather “prioritize the incarceration of bad, corrupt leaders who ruin the economy while the dollar constantly abuses and pummels the Naira.”
The businessman has, however been released from custody a few hours ago.
