Daddy Freeze reacted swiftly on his Instagram page, expressed concern over the growing toxicity in Nigeria’s political discourse.

He lamented how far political supporters are willing to go in defense of their preferred candidates, warned that such actions pose a grave threat to freedom of speech and civil engagement.

This latest development comes amid increasing tension among supporters of Nigeria’s top political figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Reno Omokri, known for his staunch support of President Bola Tinubu (APC), has been a consistent critic of Peter Obi, whom he describes as unfit for national leadership.

Omokri’s criticism has not sat well with Obi’s online base, who have often clashed with him on various social platforms. However, this is the first time a public death threat against him has surfaced.

In related news, a recent viral video of Peter Obi serving food to guests at a community event in Umuchima, Imo State, sparked heated reactions — including sharp jabs from Reno Omokri, a known loyalist of President Bola Tinubu.

Omokri likened Obi’s act to past campaign stunts by other politicians. He drew a parallel with former Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi, who once plaited market women’s hair.
