Nollywood star Jumoke Odetola has had enough from her intrusive.
The actress took to Instagram this week to address something that has clearly been bothering her for a while.
According to her, it’s the never-ending questions about her love life. From “Are you married?” to “Who is your man?”, Jumoke made it clear that she’s over the public’s obsession with her relationship status and she didn’t hold back. She wrote, sounding both fed-up and frustrated:
“Stop asking people personal questions that are none of your business! I keep saying this. Everytime!!”
According to Jumoke, these questions have become so frequent that they now feel more like entitlement than curiosity.
But instead of just ranting, Jumoke decided to take a more creative and cheeky approach. In what can only be described as classic savage mode, she posted a second slide on Instagram with a cryptic image, sarcastically writing:
“Now that you have forced me to show you the image in slide 2, are you happy now? Enough is enough.”
While the image itself was up for interpretation, her message clearly spelled “mind your business.”
In a follow-up post that mixed humour with a heavy dose of sarcasm, the actress further clapped back at people making assumptions about her romantic life. She continued:
“Where is your man? Who is your man? What even makes you think it is a man and not men or even ‘mensissss’?”
With that tongue-in-cheek response, Jumoke Odetola reminded everyone that not only is it none of their business, but also that their assumptions might not even be correct. She even invited the nosy crowd to “feel free to count them,” referencing yet another photo she dropped for the overly curious. She concluded:
“Now that you have forced me to reveal them. Feel free to count them. Hope they make you sleep better tonight?”
