Nollywood actress and media personality Bimpe Akintunde, better known as Wasila Coded has just blessed timelines with the news of the birth of her baby.
On Friday evening, July 18, the actress shared four striking posts on Instagram that had her followers teary-eyed and overjoyed. The first three were simple pink tiles that read ”A” “NEW” “BEGINNING,”. It was accompanied by a reflective caption about a fresh start and new season for her and her loved ones. Bimpe Akintunde wrote:

A new journey
A new adventure
A new life
A new joy
A new peace
A new chapter
A new dawn
A new season
For me and my loved onesWatch this space
Big Announcement soon, God did it.”
And just when fans were trying to guess what the “new chapter” was about, she dropped a jaw-dropping maternity shoot, radiating joy as she posed beside a vintage baby stroller in a goddess-like flowing gown in one of the photos.
In others, she was seen cradling her baby bump, while smiling wholeheartedly. The caption confirmed that she has welcomed her baby girl, judging from the pink tiles.
She wrote:
“And the journey of 9 months ended in praise.
Alhamdulillah is my song.”
Congratulatory messages instantly flooded her page, with stars like Mercy Aigbe and Sotayo Gaga cheering her on.
This marks a second child for the actress, but first with her husband. Bimpe Akintunde has never shied away from her parenting journey and previous struggles. Now, she’s basking in a new phase of motherhood and is grateful for it.
Bimpe married Yousuph O. Ganiu, a U.S.-based movie producer, in a Nikkah ceremony on June 25, 2023. He already had two wives in Nigeria and she joined the family as the third wife.
