Nollywood actor and filmmaker Jide Awobona is full of gratitude as he showers praise on colleagues who supported him during the production of his latest film, AMMA.
In a heartfelt appreciation post shared on Instagram, Jide revealed that some of his closest industry allies, including Odunlade Adekola and Jumoke Odetola, went as far as postponing the release of their own movies just to support his latest project.
According to Jide, this act of love and loyalty was not done for clout, but out of genuine respect and brotherhood.
“Even if they’re both not in AMMA, I can bet they would still do same, except for a crucial reason out of their control,” he wrote, referring to Odunlade and Jumoke.
“Bless and honour you Sir @odunomoadekola, you’re indeed a FATHER. Ese modupe gan ni.”
He continued by praising Jumoke Odetola, whom he described as family:
“My bloodline @jumokeodetola, you proved once again that the blood is not diluted, no be mouth. Thanks a lot dear, God bless you and enlarge your coast.”
Jide also acknowledged producers like @abeyjomo and @anike_ami for honoring him in the same way.
He made it clear that he doesn’t take the gesture lightly, saying:
“To every other producer who did same, God won’t forsake you. Thanks a lot for this honour. I do not take it for granted.”
He ended the post by urging fans to prepare for a “masterpiece” from Odunlade Adekola, hinting that the wait will be worth it. He concluded:
“Brace up for this masterpiece by @odunomoadekola you will love it.”
