Two TikTokers, Saheed Jamiu Osama and Uyime Godwin Udoekwere, have been remanded in custody for allegedly accusing Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of late singer Mohbad, of murder.
They were arraigned before Justice Ibrahim Kala of the Federal High Court in Lagos on charges of conspiracy, cyberstalking, and defamation.
The accusations stem from a public protest where the duo displayed placards with the inscription “Wunmi Killed Mohbad! Period! E No Go Better For Wunmi”, which went viral on social media.
Their prosecution is scheduled for September 25,2025 and will remain in custody at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre until the case concludes.
