Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has shut down online speculations linking her recent remarks about Naira Marley to actress Iyabo Ojo.

The controversy began after Angela posted a cryptic message on social media, accusing an unnamed colleague of offering a “fake apology”, one given privately but never repeated in public. She wrote:

“If you can apologize at the back and can’t do it publicly, then it is fake apology.”

Iyabo Ojo’s fans quickly assumed the post was directed at her and flooded Angela’s Instagram comment section with drags. But in a fiery clapback, Angela set the record straight:

“Stop pushing wrong narratives. I wasn’t talking to aunty Iyabo. I was talking about who was dragging me for Naira’s number. She called me behind to apologize to me for over 1 hour but couldn’t say it publicly!”

She didn’t stop there. In another post, Angela warned netizens to confirm who she’s addressing before jumping into unnecessary battles. She concluded:

Angela’s comments come just days after she openly showed support for controversial singer Naira Marley, despite the lingering public backlash against him. She described the Marlian Music boss as a “sweet soul” and fondly recalled how he once surprised her on her birthday years ago.
