Top Nigerian comedian, Gbadamosi ThankGod Benard, popularly known as Koboko Master, is set to thrill fun lovers in Minna, Niger State with his upcoming comedy show.

The show, tagged “Niger State Lafta with Koboko Master”, will hold on October 3rd at Posh Event Marque. It is part of activities lined up to mark Nigeria’s Independence anniversary.

The night of laughter will feature performances from Magnito, Acapella, Nedu, Clint da Drunk, Akpororo, MC Edo Pikin, Mr. Paul, Mazi Prospa, Deacon Megoro, I Am Shy, MC Bless, Beejay, and Temiz.

According to organisers, Koboko Master chose Minna to support Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s drive to boost entertainment in the state. The governor, who has invested heavily in agriculture and environment, is also promoting entertainment as a unifying tool for residents.

This comes months after Koboko Master made history as the first comedian to shut down the newly commissioned 5,000-capacity Transcorp Hilton Event Centre in Abuja with his “In Da Beginning” show on June 15, 2025. The event drew A-list entertainers, top business executives, and political figures, with fans scrambling for last-minute reservations.

With Niger State Lafta, the comedy king is ready to repeat the magic in Minna as residents prepare for an unforgettable Independence celebration.
