Popular Fuji Icon, Kwam 1 Bags High Honorary Title In Nigeria

Popular Fuji Icon, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly known as Kwam 1 has been confirmed for a honorary title in Nigeria.

This was revealed in a letter from the Office of the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs where the Fuji icon was conferred with the title of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.

Kwam 1 as he is fondly called by his fans was selected among 437 other individuals from different works of life, including politics, public office, security, business, monarchs and religious leaders.

“I have the honour to formally inform you that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the conferment of the National Honours on you, in the rank of MON (Member of the Order of the Niger).”

This follows the recent celebration of King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal’s 50 years on stage celebration among other achievements in the last couple of months.
