Design company, PUMA has announced the postponement of the PUMA x Davido collection to next year, 2023.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Davido signed an international endorsement deal with the global sports brand, Puma wears at the end of 2021 after the award-winning singer reached an agreement with the German company to become their brand ambassador.
The multinational firm disclosed this decision to reschedule the launch of ‘PUMA x Davido Collection’ via a post on its official Instagram page a few hours ago.
The memo stated that all customers who pre-ordered the collection will receive their items after the launch or alternatively request a full refund.
Although the company didn’t disclose its reason for this announcement, many assume it is due to the demise of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi as the crooner is still mourning the toddler’s death.
The post reads:
We have made the difficult but necessary decision to reschedule the launch of the PUMA x Davido collection to 2023.
All customers who have pre-ordered may receive their orders when we launch, convert your purchase to store credit, or request a full refund.
Thank you for understanding and your continued support of PUMA Nigeria.
