Burna Boy crowned Most Streamed Artiste in Nigeria by Spotify

Grammy Award winning singer, Burna Boy has been crowned the most streamed artist in Nigeria.

The singer is also the most widely played artist from Sub-Saharan Africa in 2022, according to Spotify’s Artist & Label Partnerships Manager, West Africa, Victor Okpala, who spoke at the Wrapped 2022 event.

At the 2022 edition of Wrapped, it was also announced that Burna Boy’s track ‘Last Last’ is the most streamed song and also the most-hearted song in Nigeria.

Other male artistes in the top 10 include Asake, Wizkid, BNXN fka Buju, Davido, Drake, Fireboy DML, Omah Lay, Rema, Kizz Daniel.

Ayra Starr is the most streamed female artist in Nigeria for 2022, while Tems has the leading vibe among Nigeria’s musical exports in 2022. Wait For You, the singer’s collaboration with Future & Drake, was the top Nigerian song export of the year.

Okpala added;
