Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo has been laid to rest in Lagos.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Sammie Okposo’s wife could not hold back her tears at her late husband’s farewell party.

Nigerian entertainers including Segun Arinze, Ali Baba, Chinedu Ikedieze and Charles Inojie on Tuesday December 13, attended the night of tributes for the late gospel singer Sammie Okposo.

The event was held at the La Madison Place, Oniru in Lagos and it was a very emotional experience for all.

The event also witnessed emotional performances by gospel singers Tope Alabi, Mike Abdul and Efe Nathan.

While Tope sang a farewell and worship song, Mike led the choir in high praise.

Music artiste Timi Dakolo and comedian Apororo also performed at the event.
