E-commerce platform unveils scheme for undergraduates

E-commerce platform and a one-stop-online store, Shoppers Warehouse is set to launch its enterprise called Project Hope Scholar Initiative themed ‘Scholar exhibition show: Unilag Chapter’.

The company made this known in a statement made available to The PUNCH on Thursday.  The statement said the project event will hold on December 18, 2022, at the Univerisity of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.

 According to the company, the goal of the occasion is to empower students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria economically while also encouraging them to be committed to their studies. This is in line with the University’s mission of becoming a top-class institution for the pursuit of excellence in knowledge, character, and service to humanity.

“We have rewarded students with employment and ambassadorial positions to those who have been exceptional in the use of their talents and passions to influence and promote positive social change,” it stated.

The company said it would champion a youth culture platform, by responding to the influences, energy, and aspirations embedded in youth culture, providing access for the youths to learn new skills and explore identity. Our presence and approaches tend to achieve sustainable youth development across Nigeria.

It stated, “The staff of the University would not be left out as they would have peculiar benefits too, we will be offering them access to devise financing features on our platform that would allow them to purchase various gadgets relevant to their daily tasks. This device funding enables periodic repayments.”
