Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has given some words of encouragement to his fans all over the world.
The legendary singer, who recently had a sold-out gig at New York’s 20,000-capacity Madison Square Garden (MSG), urges his fans to remain humble as they experience the ups and downs of life.
Wizkid made this statement in MSG during a conversation with media kid Jazzy, who requested the ‘Essence’ vocalist to provide some words of motivation to everyone watching her show.
“Stay blessed, stay humble, stay humble, enjoy the pain and the joys of life,” Wizkid responded, adding “more love, less ego,” the title of his most recent studio album.
Wizkid also discusses his feelings about music being a universal language, stating that the power of music is its universality and how it is felt in the souls of listeners.
Wizkid describes family support as the most fantastic thing. He also stated that performing in front of hundreds of thousands of people in various global places is the greatest blessing he has ever received.
