Nollywood actor, Yomi Gold announces crash of second marriage after one year union

Popular film actor of the Yoruba subset of Nollywood, Yomi Gold, has announced the end of his second marriage after one year.

The actor got married to Amina in January 2022 after his first marriage to Victoria Ige hit the rocks.

Yomi Gold announced his separation from Amina in an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, January 3.

According to him, the love in the relationship has ended and there is no use forcing it. The post reads:

“Me and Meenah decided to go our separate ways. I want all our families and friends, fans to understand. This is no time to judge anyone. When love dies in a relationship. No one should force it

“I want to use this time to thank everyone who has been very concerned and supportive.

“Meenah is a good person. She doesn’t deserve a man like me. She will make a great and loving partner to a far better person than me.

I am not perfect. I will work on myself and be a better person.

“This has to be published because we want everyone who knows about us to be aware of our decision.

“Time will be good again.”

He and Amina welcomed a child together in April 2022.

Yomi’s first marriage lasted 15 years and produced two children.

Recall Yomi and his first wife, Victoria had a fall out in 2018. She had accused him of leaving her and their two children to follow Ameenat, a promising actress.

Victoria caused a stir on social media as they clashed at his 40th birthday. They took to their respective social media page to wish him on his birthday with messages staking a claim on the actor.
