Afrobeats Superstar, Davido, is making headlines after he responded to his junior colleague, Cheque’s public apology.
Cheque found hmself at the centre of a social media storm after sharing a video, which had since been deleted.
The Singer and Songwriter was seen in the video, seemingly admiring Davido’s wife, Chioma Rowland’s pictures on his phone while singing a love song to her.
Many fans had considered the clip disrespectful to the DMW BOSS and his wife.

The backlashes that trailed his now-deleted clip spurred his public apology to Davido.
His apology read:
“Never meant any form of disrespect to Davido. baba has been there for me anytime I need am, even on zoom remix. I no just just reason am well before posting. Thank you and love you big bro .. OBO.”
In response to his public apology, Davido shared a love emoji.
