The remains of illustrious Nollywood icon, Sidikat Odukanmi, better known as  Iyabo Oko, has been laid to rest.

The actress took her last bow on Wednesday, June 28, after a prolonged battle with a mysterious ailment. She graced this world for 61 remarkable years.

Today, on August 10, her earthly remains found their resting place in the heart of Ife, Osun state.

Photos from the farewell ceremony have stirred a sea of sorrowful emotions among her ardent fans, flooding social media platforms with waves of heartfelt tributes.

Actress Toyin Tomato honored the invitation to her funeral and had graced the occasion.

Her online video uploads captured her active participation at the wake-keeping service and the vibrant Artist night, dedicated to paying homage to the late veteran.

In related news, The family of the late actor, Obinna Nwafor, aka Saint Obi, has announced the burial details of the actor.

In a flyer released during the week, the family wrote, “The Nwafor family of Ogwa, Imo State, cordially invites you as our superhero goes home. Obinna Nwafor Saint Obi, our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and son.”

The actor would be laid to rest on August 18, 2023, in his hometown, Alaenyi Ogwa, Imo State.

Meanwhile, a candlelight procession is scheduled to be held a week before the burial on August 11, 2023, at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
