Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has knocked celebrities who try their possible best to see that their actions please the public.
He directed his criticism towards fellow celebrities who resort to swiftly deleting comments when confronted with online trolls.
The actor utilized his social media platform to address this prevailing concern, expressing his concerns regarding his peers’ tendencies to cower in the face of public opinion and insults.
Edochie explicitly pointed out that these celebrities were displaying a lack of courage by succumbing to the fear of online trolling.
He went on to suggest that feeling apprehensive about one’s fellow human beings was a cause for shame.
He firmly believed that individuals should not be overly preoccupied with the impossible task of pleasing everyone, but instead should confidently express their viewpoints without resorting to insults.
In a strong message, he stated:
“I see some celebrities who drop comments on a post & when they get attacked or insulted by trolls they rush & delete their comments.
Excuse me? Are you afraid of your fellow human being? You should be ashamed of yourself if you’re scared of your fellow human being. You’re not here to please anyone.
You’re entitled to your opinion, as long as you’re not insulting anyone. If you drop a comment and trolls come for you, drop 20 more comments. Tell them, DIA FADA.”
