Nollywood actress Uche Ebere expressed her strong belief that a home should be founded on a bedrock of positivity.

The popular actress took a veiled jab at fellow actress Kiekie, who recently caused a buzz online when she stated her reasons for splitting bills with her husband.

Recall that the comedienne had disclosed her family’s financial situation.

She discussed how sharing and splitting expenses with her husband made their relationship more stable during a podcast interview.

Kiekie underlined that, in her opinion, it’s crucial for both couples to make financial contributions when living together in a household.

She continued by stating that paying her share of the rent helps her feel more at home.

She argued that your husband cannot order you to leave the house if you are the one paying the rent. This is so because she was responsible for half of it.

In response to her claim that she would split household expenses with her spouse in the event of a divorce, the actress reprimanded her.

Uche Ebere advised her to build her home on positive and questioned why she would be married and considering divorce.

Ebere emphasized the importance of maintaining a harmonious and loving atmosphere within the home, stressing that financial matters should not be a source of contention or power dynamics.

She spoilt the whole good points when she said, “So when they’re splitting as in divorce or separation, the man will carry this while she will carry that”. So she is in the marriage and having the mindset of divorce or separation anytime, which isn’t supposed to be so. Build your home on positivity and that’s it. God is on the wheel”.
