The unexpected and stunning passing of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, known as Mohbad has ignited a maelstrom of controversies and speculations within the entertainment industry.

While fans and online users fervently seek insights into the circumstances surrounding his demiseone recurring figure in these discussions is Naira Marley, his former record label boss.

A video of Mohbad, resurfaced online, where he indicated who should be held accountable in case of his demise.

In the video, Mohbad was visibly distressed, expressed concern for his safety and explicitly pointed to Naira Marley as the one to be held accountable should anything happen to him.

Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late artist, was questioned about the actions he took when his son cried out for assistance and accused Naira Marley of trying to kill him.

In response, Mr. Joseph explained that he initially made diligent efforts to contact Naira Marley but received no response. He also contemplated visiting Naira Marley’s residence but hesitated out of fear of the unknown.

The father of the deceased singer asserted that he cannot definitively state that Naira Marley was responsible for his son’s demise since he was not present during the attack that occurred while his son was promoting his album alongside Colleague Zlatan Ibile.

Regarding allegations of his late son being involved with drug use, Mr. Joseph acknowledged that his son was signed to a record label perceived by many as an association of drug users.

He conceded that he couldn’t defend his son if he indeed engaged in such behavior but emphasized that he consistently provided advice and biblical guidance whenever his son visited him.

Mr Joseph continued by stating that at the time his son accused Naira Marley of assaulting him, his son was in a stable and sound mental state, indirectly contradicting Naira Marley’s previous assertions that his son’s mental faculties had deteriorated due to drug use.

The grieving father also mentioned that he wasn’t present during the attack on his son but maintained a strong belief that God had a purpose in permitting his beloved son’s passing.
