Kenneth Petty, the husband of renowned rapper Nicki Minaj, has been sentenced to 120 days house arrest following an incident involving threats made towards Offset.

Petty was punished for violating his probation terms by posting videos on social media that purported to harm Cardi B’s husband, Offset.

Kenneth Petty was ordered to undergo home monitoring in a court order filed in the Central District of California on Wednesday after he “was recorded making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”

The injunction specifically targeted rapper Offset, and the clips are related to a string of tweets Petty sent to Offset on September 16 that went viral.

The viral footage shows Petty and part of his group outside of a hotel in New York City where Offset was allegedly staying.

Petty ominous remarks stated, “Plan that vacation, you’re gonna be planning your funeral pussy.”

Recall that in 1995, Petty was found guilty of first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl and sentenced to four years in a New York prison.

He also received a three-year probationary period in July 2022 after pleading guilty to failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California in 2020.

According to PageSix, Petty pleaded guilty during a virtual court hearing Thursday to a charge of failure to register as a sex offender in California.

Petty is facing up to 10 years in prison — the maximum sentence allowed for the crime — and a lifetime of supervised release.

It would be recalled that Petty was arrested in 2020 over the offense.

He was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in the city. Petty moved to California from New York in July 2019, but according to law enforcement he got pulled over in Beverly Hills in November 2019 and that’s when his legal troubles started.

According to the reports, he was pulled over in November and arrested for not registering as a sex offender in California.
