A video of Yoruba Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola talking about her frequently violent on-screen persona has gone viral, drawing the attention of online users.

Wumi Toriola asserted during a live video session that her on-screen demeanor is different from who she is in real life and that she is simply playing the part as best she can.

The actress, who appeared to be having a problem with an unknown person, claimed that although she frequently landed love roles in films and excelled in them, many people mistake her real personality for what they saw on screen.

Netizens, however, have rejected her clarification.

One lawyer, Barrister Dolapo, took it upon herself to accuse the actress of being toxic, stating that she enjoys posting live Instagram videos whenever she has a problem with someone.

You are a bitter soul… the fact that you always come on live video anytime you have issues with someone shows you are too toxic… you did it to shai and Toyin. Any wise person in your industry won’t move close to you again” the barrister wrote.

Recall how Wumi Toriola criticized Nollywood filmmakers for the kind of movie roles she was getting.
