The highly anticipated reality TV show, BBNaija All Stars, which brought together some of Nigeria’s most popular and controversial housemates from previous seasons, has reportedly come with a hefty price tag for its organisers.

According to recent reports, the extravagant production and mounting expenses associated with hosting this star-studded edition of Big Brother Naija have cost a staggering N5.5 billion.

This was revealed at the winner’s prize presentation on Tuesday in Lagos by Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels, MultiChoice Nigeria.

Recall that on Sunday, Kogi-born model Ilebaye, 22, took home the N120 million top prize from the reality show.

On Independence day, October 1, 2022, avid fans of the BBNaija spectacle bore witness to the coronation of Ilebaye as the reigning champion.

Her ascent to glory was no easy feat, given the formidable competition she faced from fellow finalists Adekunle, Mercy Eke, Cross, Cee C, and Pere. Fans found themselves in a quandary, uncertain about who would ultimately seize the coveted prize.

In years past, the Big Brother Naija winner was often as predictable as the sunrise, with social media consensus leaning toward a particular individual. However, Ilebaye defied expectations, emerging as the dark horse in this exhilarating race.

Despite being perceived as an underdog, she triumphed by leading the scoreboard with an impressive 30.08% of the votes.

The closest contender, Mercy Eke, trailed behind with a modest ,23.48% of the votes, while Cee C 23.41%, Adekunle 12.61%, Pere 5.82%, and Cross 4.60% took their respective places in the ranks, finishing 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, It was truly a nail-biting showdown!.

Ilebaye is strolling away with a jaw-dropping jackpot of 120 million naira in her pocket, along with a trove of exciting travel adventures and an assortment of valuable brand-related goodies.
