The wife of popular Nigerian comedian, AY, Mabel Makun has expressed her fear and concern over the current state of the country.

In a recent post on social media, the mother of one disclosed that she has never been so afraid of the state of her country and the safety of its citizens.

Her comments came in the wake of the new exchange rate which she noted is affecting businesses in the country.

Mabel expressed her dissatisfaction with price increases since business has dwindled.

She mentioned how the average common man can no longer afford a piece of bread and how parents are pulling their children out of school to have them tutored at home.

Mabel bemoaned the fact that everything has become luxurious and that even basic necessities are now very expensive.

She wrote:

Never been this afraid for my country, Nigeria.
Exchange rate is killing businesses.
We are tired of increasing prices!
Business is now draining! An average common man can no longer afford a loaf of bread.
Parents withdrawing their kids from schools for home tutors.
Basic needs are now luxury!
Everything is high. affordability has suddenly become Fiction!
What is the way out?”.

In another story, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has advised Nigerians to Relax that president Tinubu will fix Nigeria .

Yul Edochie made this statement in a recent post on his social media accounts, claiming that Tinubu has the experience and capacity to lead Nigeria to prosperity.

The actor urged Nigerians not to panic despite the severe economic hardship the nation is experiencing and emphasized that the President is a skilled tactician.

He shared a photo of himself and his second wife, Judy Austin, wearing tee-shirts with the message:
