A resurfaced video of Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid has been circulating online in which the music star candidly shared the reason popular female artist Chidinma Ekile turned down his marriage proposal.

Wizkid, in the video, confessed his affection for Chidinma and revealed that she declined his proposal. He added that he thinks the reason she turned down his proposal was because he hadn’t gotten her an “icy ring.”

The singer added that he was working towards that.

Nevertheless, he humorously stated that they are “married for life.”

The old video which depicted the jovial and easy-going side of Wizkid left fans talking in the comment section.

The ‘Essence’ hitmaker on Sunday, 5th November shared a message he received from a fan who raged because he hasn’t released a new song lately.

The fan went on to ask whether ‘Ogun’ (deity) is killing him.

Following this, Wizkid in some follow-up posts opened up on his plans to go on a 4 or 5 years break to spend the money he has amassed over the years.

A slide that caught the attention of netizens was when he tagged everybody mad and crazy.
