Mr Real calls out Mr Eazi, D’banj for ‘ripping’ him [VIDEO]

  • Mr Real has called out his senior colleagues, D’banj and Mr Eazi for trying to play a smart one on him by refusing to pay him money after working together.
  • The singer said although there was no formal agreement of monetary compensation when they worked together on songs years ago, he deserves payment.
  • Mr Real added that he has tried to reach out privately but both artistes ignore his calls.

Nigerian Street-pop artist, Okafor Uchenna Victor, better known as Mr Real, has set social media on fire after a clip of him calling out his former record label boss, D’banj and colleague, Mr Eazi, went viral.

Mr. Real was recently on the podcast, Terms and Condition, where he spoke about his time with D’banj and his experience working with Mr. Eazi.

During the chat, Real revealed that he was defrauded and wasn’t paid for his work on the popular song, ‘Overload’.

The singer shared how he and Mr Eazi used to have great rapport, and he called him regularly until after they recorded Overload.

Real noted that they recorded Overload without signing any contract.

He added that he made Issa Banger with D’banj but wasn’t paid a dime. Mr Real admitted that D’banj paid for his video and it cost N1 million but that was it. For a song that was a hit at the time, the singer says he expected more.

The Legbelegbe crooner’s interview comes hours after Mr Eazi’s talk about his career growth and how he helps young artists went viral. D’banj was also called out weeks ago by Idowest. See video and reactions below:
