Philip Asiodu Institute unveils essay competition for students

The Philip Asiodu Institute has launched its inaugural essay competition for secondary school students.

According to a statement from the institute made available to our correspondent on Sunday, the competition, which is open to all secondary school students all over the country, is themed ‘Encouraging Patriotism and Nurturing Nigerian Leaders of Tomorrow’.

It said the competition “aims to identify and encourage young talents while providing the winners with valuable mentorship and support in order to make a significant impact on the future of Nigeria”.

A representative of the competition team, ‘Yemi Adeyemi-Enilari, added that those interested in participating in the competition should visit the institute’s website.

He disclosed that the essay competition started on Thursday.

The essay topics are expected to revolve around the themes of patriotism, exploring various aspects such as the importance of unity, diligence, integrity and discipline.

It was revealed that the winners of the competition will go home with prizes.

“These prizes will not only empower the winners themselves but also contribute to the development of their respective schools. Additionally, the best essays from the competition will be published on the official website of the Philip Asiodu Institute, providing a platform for wider exposure and shared learning,” it said.
