During an honest conversation on Madame Joyce’s podcast, ‘Cocktails & Takeaways,’ Joeboy shared his perspective.

He said:

“The easiest way to know if a woman genuinely likes you is if she’s ready to spend on you.

“It doesn’t have to be anything crazy [expensive]. It can be just a situation of ‘Oh! I saw this shirt that I really like and I think it will look good on you.”

Joeboy believes that within the first few months of a relationship, it’s reasonable to anticipate small token of appreciation from one’s significant other.

According to him, these gifts need not break the bank; it’s the thoughts behind it that counts.

Three months into a relationship, you can start expecting gifts from your partner. It doesn’t have to be something expensive, just little things.

“A lot of people don’t understand that men are not used to getting gifts so whenever they get a gift even if it’s socks, we appreciate it a lot.”

In another story, Joeboy reacts as Blaqbonez claims only 4 artistes are better than him.

The ‘Best Rapper In Africa’ crooner made the bold claim on his X, formerly Twitter page, adding that it is only the big 3 or 4 artistes in Nigeria that can surpass him.

Blaqbonez stated this in response to a critic that dissed him for claiming that the two songs he released this year are better than all Afrobeats songs released. Blaqbonez wrote:

I’ve only added 2 songs on my rotation this year, and it’s been 3 months, most releases have been ass, I don’t even bother to play the top 100 again, cos that one is designed by farmers.”

In reaction, the critic said; “He doesn’t have one song that would give him credibility for this stupiid talk btw.”
