A video has surfaced showing the controversial rapper, Speed Darlington stripping off his trousers at an airport after being confronted for wearing military camouflage.

In the clip, the artist is seen pulling down his trousers in agitation.

Akpi as he is fondly called claimed to have been harassed for donning military camouflage by armed personnel.

Darlington subsequently pulled his camouflage trousers, exposing his boxers, and continued to taunt those who approached him.

He averred that he refused to be intimidated by the military and opted to call his lawyer instead.

Akpi authoritatively asserted that there’s no section of the constitution that forbids citizens from wearing camouflage.

Sharing the video,  Speed disclosed that the incident occurred at Asaba airport.

He wrote:

“This one just happened at Asaba airport. There is nothing in the Constitution that says camouflage is a crime but the military at Asaba airport trying to enter me. I refuse & call my lawyer. I refuse to beg because I know i did not commit any crime on my way to @_peecee, this is me proving that you cannot embarrass me.”

In other news, Speed Darlington took to social media to vehemently reject comparisons with fellow musician Portable, asserting his dominance in the industry.

The controversy ensued after reports emerged that Portable, known for his controversial style and music, was arrested by the police over alleged debt amounting to N14 million related to his G-Wagon.

Seizing the opportunity, Speed Darlington took to social media to mock Portable’s predicament, adding fuel to the fire.

In response, trolls and fans alike criticized Speed Darlington for his comments, prompting the artist, who is based abroad, to retaliate through his social media page.

He adamantly declared that he stands as the superior artist and warned against any attempts to equate him with Portable.

Emphasizing his stature, Speed Darlington highlighted his international presence and asserted that he conducts his affairs without attracting police attention, unlike Portable.

Speed Darlington went on to express his disdain for any comparisons with Portable, wishing ill fate upon those who dare to associate him with the controversial musician.
