- Hours following Isreal DMW’s effusive praise for Davido in response to Imade’s boastful claim of visiting several countries, Sophia, Imade’s mother, took to social media in a fiery tirade against Isreal DMW.
- Infuriated by his remarks, Sophia, who has long been embroiled in a contentious relationship with Davido, whom she has accused of neglecting his paternal duties, went on lengthy rant.
The enchanting Children’s Day festivities between Davido’s former partner, Sophia Momodu, and their daughter, Imade Adeleke, have taken an unforeseen twist.
This turn of events unfolded following the singer’s eldest child, Imade, disclosing during a recent media interview on May 27th that she has explored more than a billion countries.
In the wake of Imade’s revelation, Davido’s aide, Isreal DMW, seized the opportunity to boast that Imade’s extravagant lifestyle was made possible by the singer’s influence.
Isreal’s comment quickly gained traction on social media, triggered Sophia Momodu to speak out about her own role in single-handedly caring for her daughter.
In a fiery barrage of tweets, Sophia Momodu hinted at the strained nature of her relationship with Davido, suggesting he was leveraging her financially.
She then took aim at Isreal DMW, lambasting him for disseminating falsehoods about her daughter’s welfare and cautioned her followers against taking social media at face value, emphasizing its deceptive nature.
She wrote;
“I told Isreal the 1st time he lied on social media that I didn’t find it funny & he apologized. Why he’s lying on his oga again on my child’s post is beyond me #SocialMediaIsNotRealLife”
Sophia disclosed that she personally finances all the foreign trips she takes with her daughter, covering all expenses herself.
She subtly added that Davido and his associates owe her a debt of gratitude for her sole responsibility in nurturing their child in affluence.
“What does me taking my child on a tour of the south of France have to do with your oga’s money? Y’all owe me so much money but have the audacity to be capping on social media. Is Isreal ok??“, Sophia continued.
Sophia expressed her frustration with Isreal for attempting to taint a day intended for children with his unwarranted lies.
She wrote;
“It’s either you’re helping or you’re a distraction. Just capping anyhow on Children’s Day for that matter. Isreal no Dey fear God? What’s all this???”
