BBNaija’s Ka3na speaks on remarriage on hubby’s death anniversary

Reality TV star and businesswoman, Katrina Jones popularly known as Ka3na has clarified that she never divorced her late husband, Mr Jones before he passed away.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls her British husband died in May last year and was buried in a private funeral, and there have been speculations that she inherited his wealth and was planning to find a new man.

However, Ka3na decided to mark Mr Jones’ death anniversary via her official accounts on the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram and the microblogging app, X on May 30, while explaining that she had legally and traditionally married him and never formally got a divorce, so she is now his widow.

She urged the general public to respect her statement and refrain from spreading any form of misinformation regarding her marital status.

The former Big Brother Naija contestant added that she has no intention of getting married again or dropping her late husband’s name. Ka3na who reshared the post from X to Instagram wrote:

“Public Announcement: I believe it is necessary for me to clarify a misconception that has been circulating amongst the public. There are individuals who falsely claim that I was divorced from my late husband prior to his untimely passing.

“This is entirely untrue. I was legally and traditionally married to Mr. Jones, and I am now his widow. I have no intention of remarriage or changing my marital status by dropping my husband’s name.

“I kindly request that everyone respects this statement and refrains from spreading any form of misinformation.”
