Denola Grey berates parents’ pressure to wed despite being in unhappy marriages

UK-based Nigerian content creator, Denola Grey has slammed African parents who pressure their children into marriages while emphasizing how unhappy their generation is.

The model made this revelation on the Dressed To Confess Podcast where he discussed the difference between marriage then and now in the 21st century.

Denola Grey revealed that parents may be the factor responsible for their children’s misfortune in marriage due to pressure that gets them in the wrong hands.

He argued that most marriages of today are based on ‘slavery’ and many of them are truly unhappy in their marital lives.

Denola insisted that when he decides to settle down, it would be with a partner he loves and not the one he tolerates.

In his words;

“When will you marry? When will you fix your marriage? How about that? I don’t know why they are so obsessed with marriage because a lot of them are not in happy marriages especially like the older generation I’m like so you want me to just like meet someone, marry them and just be managing them. Like, I hate slavery.”

 

In other news, Popular Nigerian film actor, Aremu Afolayan has extended a hand of generosity towards comedian turned prophet, Bayegun Oluwatoyin, better known as Woli Arole.

The actor shared a video where he gifted Arole a brand new SUV, Audi Q7. According to him, he gives people gifts with all his heart and with no strings attached   

Aremu Afolayan went ahead to warn the prophet that he can’t just part with the new whip, and insisted that the prophet must pray for new clients for his business.
