Popular actor and producer Femi Ogedengbe has bravely revealed the brutal physical assaults he and his colleagues faced from cultists, detailing their journey from obscurity to the glittering heights of Nollywood fame.

Femi, the latest celebrity featured on the “Teju Babyface Deep Dive” podcast, shared poignant details from his past, including the heartbreaking loss of ten friends who tragically lost their lives on the very street where he once resided.

He bodly disclosed his unwitting association with an arm robbery syndicate, divulging his unawareness of his close associate Orji’s role as a major player in the criminal ring.

“Over 35 of my friends were killed from 1990 to 1995 for robbery. In fact the person who partnered with me Orji, I didn’t know he was one of the biggest robbers.

10 of my childhood friends were slaughted on our street, they macheted all of them,” he said.

In another revealing highlight, Femi discussed the rampant prevalence of cultism during his stint in Nollywood.

He vividly recalled a harrowing incident where he, alongside Prince Eke, Hanks Anuku and other colleagues, found themselves fleeing for safety.

According to him, the exception was Hanks Anuku, who defiantly held his ground, ready to confront the danger head-on.
