- Nigerian actress, Empress Njamah has remembered her colleague and friend, Ada Ameh on her 2nd death anniversary.
- Ameh had died on July 17, 2022 at the age of 48.
- Taking to her graveside, Empress Njamah offered prayers and dropped flowers there, in a video shared on Instagram.
Actress and entrepreneur Empress Njamah on Wednesday marked the second anniversary of the death of her friend and colleague, Ada Ameh.
Taking to her Instagram page, Empress shared videos in remembrance of the late actress.
In one video, Ada, while having her makeup applied, could be heard singing Kizz Daniel’s ‘Buga.’
She captioned the post, “It’s another year again, my dearest Ada Ameh. We all miss you. Keep resting, my sweet trouble.”
In another post, Empress visited a flower store to purchase flowers, which she took to Ada’s grave. She offered prayers and placed the flowers on the grave before leaving. She captioned the video:
“True friends are the ones who will never leave your heart, even if they leave your life for a while. Even after years apart, you pick up right where you left off, and even if they pass, they’re never gone in your heart,”
Ada Ameh died on July 17, 2022, two years after the death of her only daughter Ladi.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria held a tribute for Ada on August 18, 2022. She was laid to rest on August 26 in her hometown, Otukpo, Benue State. Ada was 48 years old.

In other news, the late Nigerian singer and songwriter Olanrewaju Fasasi, better known as Sound Sultan through his management, has dropped a new single, ‘Street OT.’
The new song, which featured rapper Ice Prince and upcoming star DJ ShabzyAce, was released three years after his death as his legacy continues to live on.
According to the report, Sound Sultan’s Street OT was produced by his long-term collaborator and ace producer ID Cabasa to commemorate the talented artiste’s 3rd anniversary.
Sound Sultan passed away at the age of 44 following a hard-fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma in July, 2021.
