Big Brother Naija reality TV star Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, has expressed her disinterest in pursuing a romantic relationship, citing the prevalence of ‘strange people’ as a major deterrent.

In a post on X, Vee shared her thoughts on modern dating. Vee Iye wrote:

“Dating isn’t fun anymore. There’s just too many strange people.”

Despite her disinterest, Vee has found herself at the centre of dating rumour with singer Magixx.

The speculation gained traction on Thursday after Magixx shared an intimate photo of both of them on X, sparking widespread curiosity among fans and followers.

Neiither Vee nor Magixx has addressed the swirling rumour.

Vee’s dating life has been a topic of public interest since her relationship with fellow Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ contestant, Neo Akpofure.

The couple’s romance, which blossomed during their time in Biggie’s house in 2020, unfortunately ended shortly after the show concluded.

This is not the first time Vee will be complaining about dating as she earlier said the courtship scene in Lagos state is now harder and more complicated than ever.

The BBNaija 2020 contestant gave reasons she is still single while expressing her fears about being in a romantic relationship.

According to her, she is not ready for heartbreak, hence, she’s avoiding relationships.

The reality star wrote on her official handle on the microblogging platform, X:

“One thing I don’t have time for right now is heartbreak. I’m not in the mood for that at all. No bueno abeg.”

In another post, Vee wrote:

“I’m very good at loving someone from a distance. I won’t fight my feelings but I won’t fight my sense either.”

“Born to be a lover girl, forced to deal with love-bombers.”
