Legendary Nigerian singer Onyeka Onwenu popularly known as ‘Elegant Stallion’, will be laid to rest today in Lagos.
The beloved singer, who passed away suddenly on July 30 at Reddington Hospital in Ikeja, will be remembered with a funeral service following her unexpected collapse after performing at Dr. Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
The family has announced that the funeral service will be held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju.
The Service of Songs is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the burial taking place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Onyeka Onwenu will then be privately interred at a vault in Ikoyi.
