Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has called out Nigerian celebrities over their failure to make financial contributions towards the medical bills of ailing music video director, TG Omori.
WITHIN NIGERIA reported that music video director and cinematographer, Thankgod Omori, better known as TG Omori or Boy Director recently underwent an unsuccessful kidney transplant surgery in Lagos.
His body rejected the kidney donated to him by his only brother, according to the ailing video director.
While some Nigerian celebrities like Davido, Kizz Daniel and others have made solidarity posts on social media since the failed surgery, none of them have publicly made any donation towards paying his medical bills.
Speaking in a video message shared via his social media page, Portable berated Nigerian celebrities for not donating to the ailing video director, saying the entertainment industry “is full of fake love.”
Portable lamented that Nigerian celebrities such as embattled Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, music executive, Don Jazzy and others donated to controversial cross-dresser, Bobrisky during his prison ordeal, but were yet to extend the same gesture to TG Omori who is chronically ill.
Portable fumed:
“TG Omori has a kidney problem and celebrities are not donating money or kidney for him but Victor Osimhen and others donated money for Bobrisky who has no value. The industry is full of fake love,”
