In a statement, Jones’ family expressed their grief and celebrated his remarkable life, saying:

Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing.

“And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him.”

Throughout his career, Jones collaborated with numerous iconic figures in the entertainment industry, including Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and Will Smith.

His most notable achievement was producing Jackson’s groundbreaking ‘Thriller’ album, which sold over 20 million copies in 1983 alone and remains one of the best-selling albums of all time.

In another news, Jamie Foxx remembers his late sister on World Down Syndrome day.

Dixon, who is the actor’s younger sister, died in October 2020 at the age of 36.

On World Down Syndrome Day, Foxx shared a photo of his sister in Instagram and paid tribute to her.

Foxx, 52, shared the news of his sister’s death, writing that his heart is “shattered into a million pieces.”

“My beautiful loving sister Deondra has transitioned,” he wrote, captioning an album of photos of Dixon through the years. “I say transitioned because she will always be alive…”

Foxx described his sister as a “bright light” who always livened up the dance floor.
