Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has taken to social media to express her heartfelt appreciation to Nigerians for their overwhelming support following the release of her debut cinema film, Queen Lateefah.

In a recent post on her Instagram page, she reflected on the rewarding experience of venturing into the broader market, highlighting the valuable lessons she learned along the way.

Thank you, Nigeria. It was a worthy, humbling, and impactful experience. Oh yes! A great experience exploring the wider market and to be very honest, it was a learning curve for me.

Having recorded the success QUEEN LATEEFAH attained at the cinemas, l am beyond overwhelmed with the love and reception. What started as an uncertain idea blossomed into something greater than I could have imagined.

The smiles! Happy times were had by the audience. This memory I’ll never forget! I remember and greatly miss seeing the beautiful smile and satisfaction on people’s faces after watching QUEEN LATEEFAH.
