Nollywood actor Tony Umez’s daughter has achieved a notable milestone at the NYSC camp in Adamawa.

On February 4, she was crowned Miss NYSC Adamawa as a member of Batch C stream 2.

Tony Umez took to social media to celebrate his daughter’s achievement, sharing photos and videos from the event.

He expressed his admiration for her and highlighted her other accomplishments, including her academic achievements and previous pageant titles.

He wrote:

“Give it up for the latest QUEEN 👑, MISS NYSC ADAMAWA BATCH C STREAM 2, The delectable and lovely Miss beautiful Tonia Chinelo Umez, Omalicha’m, beauty and brains, 2ND class upper division Mass Communications, graduate of the University of Benin, MISS MASCA 2022/23, 1st runner-up in the “FACE OF EKEHUAN CAMPUS” Pageant 2022/23 and the future Miss Universe. The Umez clan is super proud of you. We love you loads.’

In another news, Tony Umez reacts to rumours about his demise.

In a post shared on his official Instagram page, the Nollywood veteran drew the public’s attention to the false news in circulation, urging fans and followers to ignore the report.

According to him, the aim of these bloggers and TikTokers is to chase clout with his name and garner massive traffic.

He added that he would take legal action against the persons spreading such rumours about him as it doesn’t only affect him but his family and loved ones.

Sharing the video, he wrote:

“Good day, my lovely people.

I need to address this disturbing issue that has come to my attention. There are some unscrupulous individuals who have been using my pictures and videos maliciously, falsely reporting me as deceased in order to gain traffic to their pages.

First and foremost, I want to assure you that I am very much alive and well. These false reports are nothing but baseless rumors spread by individuals with ill intentions. I will be taking legal action against these persons, as their actions not only infringe upon my rights but also cause unnecessary distress to my loved ones and fans…”
