  • Austine Emmanuel has called out two major movie marketers for sabotaging him.
  • The actor in a recent interview accused Olasco and Toymax films for colluding with his former girlfriend to frustrate him and ruin his career.

Nigerian actor Austine Emmanuel has painstakingly explained how some movie marketers have made it their lives mission to reportedly sabotage and destroy his movie career.

The movie star in a tell-all interview with colleague, Debby Shokoya, did not mince words when he called out names on the podcast.

Austine Emmanuel has been a people’s favorite for decades but lately hasn’t been in trendy movies.

Making a comeback after being away from the movie industry for a while, the actor claimed that two entities are responsible for his downfall — Olasco films and Toymax films.

The actor who hails from Owode, Idi-Iroko cursed heavily at both marketers for making moves to bring him down and stopping other actors from working with him.

He claimed Aishat Raji, his former girlfriend was double dating the marketer, and when he found out and broke things off, they didn’t let him be.

Austine said that’s where his woes began, and shockingly after his hiatus, when he got back, the hostility continued.

Unfortunately, sabotage doesn’t seem to be new in the Nollywood industry, as actress Motilola Akinlami in May 2024 called out her senior colleague, Kunle Afod for reportedly sabotaging her.

In the series of videos, Motilola noted how Afod’s wife used to dislike their boss-understudy relationship, which led her to withdrawal from his tutelage.

Her withdrawal allegedly led him to sabotage her from getting big jobs in the industry. According to the actress, this had been going on for five years.

The actress expressed her frustration over how movie producers have ghosted her because Kunle Afod reportedly manipulated their colleagues to sideline her in the movie industry.

According to Motilola, she has spoken to a lot of her senior colleagues to help resolve the issue but all efforts have proven futile
