• Burna Boy, has responded to socialite, Sophia Egbueje’s allegations that he reneged on his promise after allegedly sleeping with her.
• In a viral leaked audio recording between her and her friend, Sophia accused Burna Boy of having a one-night stand with her and failing to fulfill his promise of buying her a Lamborghini.
• Reacting to the accusations, Burna Boy slammed Sophia for losing her cool over his failure to buy her a Lamborghini in a video shared on his Instagram story.

Amid the spiralling controversy revolving around Grammy-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy’s alleged refusal to buy socialite Sophia Egbueje a Lamborghini Truck, he has now responded to her claims.

On February 28, 2025, reacting in a freestyle video shared via his Instagram story, Burna Boy slammed Sophia for losing her cool over his failure to buy her a Lamborghini. He freestyles:

“No do no do, no do no do. If you no get me, forget about it.

“I no buy Lambo, is that why you are shouting? Where dem dey? I no dey see dem at all”

Social media began buzzing on February 27, 2025, after a leaked voice note of Egbueje’s surfaced. In the recordings, Sophia said her friend Ama Reginald and Burna Boy’s friend Manny convinced her to link up with Burna Boy, who promised her a Lamborghini.

“She is like, ‘Babe, you should take him seriously. You know it’s him that bought Stefflon Don Cullinan. He actually spends on girls. Just try and take him seriously,” Sophia said in part.’

However, according to her, Burna Boy never came through on his promise to buy her the luxurious vehicle after allegedly sleeping with her. The voice notes caused a stir on social media, leading to a variety of reactions and offsetting discussions about social climbing and transactional relationships.
