Toyosi Etim-Effiong, wife of actor, Daniel Etim-Effiong, has silenced critics for constantly criticizing her and painting her as an obsessive wife.
Speaking on a new podcast co-hosted by the couple, Transparent Talkshow, the duo gave feedback following a viral 21-question interview they conducted some months ago.
Daniel and Toyosi also discussed other broader topics from icebreakers, to what kills intimacy in marriage, situationships and more.
Toyosi while speaking on a viral movie promotion video that had actress Bolaji Ogunmola and her husband share a steamy kiss revealed that she didn’t even know about the clip or when it began trending.
The media personality on how she felt about the role her husband played in the movie, Summer Rain, that was recently released seemed unbothered by it.
She said she called Bolaji Ogunmola to ask how the movie promotion had been going, only for the actress to be surprised Toyosi wasn’t angry with her.
Upon speaking further, she found out about the clip and asked it be sent to her. In her words:
“So you’re not angry with me?” I said “No why”, then she goes “I’ve not been able to reach out to you because I thought you were angry at me.” I’m like No, angry? why?.” She now said the video, the this, that, so I said please send it to me, what are you talking about.”
Toyosi said she enjoyed watching the clip stating that all she saw was an actor playing a role and not her husband.
The book author additionally disclosed to netizens who are worried about her reactions to her husband’s romantic or steamy scenes that she has no problem with the number of girls her husband kisses on set, so far he returns home to her. She said:
“You are my God-ordained husband. You can kiss anybody you want to kiss. Any kiss you want to kiss in movies, it doesn’t change the fact that you are my husband.”
