- As Senator Natasha Akpoti’s allegations of sexual harassment against Akpabio continue to stir controversy, Reno Omokri has been on a relentless mission to paint a pattern.
- Determined to prove that she hurls such accusations at others too, he placed himself among her “victims,” claimed she once accused him of molestation.
- To back his assertion, he dug up and posted a clip where she made the claim.
Reno Omokri has reignited a storm, dragged Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan into the harsh spotlight over past accusations she made against him.
The former presidential media aide took to social media on March 8, released a clip where the suspended Kogi Central senator was seen and heard accusing him of sexual harassment reportedly in 2021.
According to her, the alleged incident occurred in May 2014 during a state banquet at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, where former President Goodluck Jonathan hosted then-Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Omokri, however, had already preempted this claim. On March 7, he posted a video detailing how he gathered hard evidence to prove he was not even in Nigeria at the time.
Now, with Akpoti-Uduaghan leveling similar allegations against Senate President Akpabio, Omokri is on the offensive, demanding she take a lie detector test to prove her claims.
“I have been sent on an official mission to the United States, leaving the country in April and returning only at the end of May. To clear my name, I posted his passport stamps and a British Airways flight ticket showing his departure from Nigeria and arrival in the United States.
“Obviously, Natasha Akpoti lied,” Omokri said in the video.
He recalled; “After newspapers published my evidence, Natasha deleted all traces of her accusation. She deleted everything. She had made a video insulting me, my wife, and my newborn daughter. She also deleted that.”
“The next day, I received a phone call from a prominent Christian clergyman. As a fellow pastor, they believed I would listen to a senior member of the body of Christ. He called me on a three-way call with Emmanuel Oritshejolomi Uduaghan, Natasha Akpoti’s present husband.
“They appealed to me, quoting scriptural references about Christians taking each other to court, and I listened to them. We settled the matter out of court. I was paid a large amount of money as damages, and I let the matter go.”
