Popular Nigerian skit maker and comedian Apaokagi Adedoyin Maryam better known as Taaooma, has shared her struggle with her fans a few months after welcoming her first baby.
Taaooma and her husband Abdulazeez Greene Oladimeji aka Abula welcomed her first child on November 7, but announced the amazing news on December 5, 2024.
The talented creative in a new post on her X handle, asked a question to show how frustrating her experience is going.
Taaooma asked if she should become Papa Ajasco, the popular comic character in Wale Adenuga’s sitcom, Papa Ajasco, who is bald. She wrote:
“Dear postpartum, is it until I become Papa Ajasco?”.
The tweet shared by the new mum led some of her followers to open up about their own postpartum struggle as well.
A few of them shared how they lost their hair and never recovered after having a baby, teasing that she hasn’t witnessed how harder things can get. They stated that they had to switch to chop off the hair as a way of coping with the situation.
Another follower of the skit maker claimed she is battling memory loss adding that Taaooma’s condition is mild, compared to hers. Others revealed they experienced phantom crying – a situation where mothers hear their baby cry when they aren’t crying. See the reactions below:
